Q. Who can I contact if I have questions about a specific dog?
A. Please read the dog's description to learn about temperament and personality. If you have additional questions, email us.
Q. Where can I go to meet the dogs in person?
A. TCDR dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted. We only allow approved adopters to meet the dogs. Complete our adoption application to start the process.

A. Each dog's description includes his/her location.
Q. Do you adopt outside of Texas?
A. We will allow adoptions in Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Eastern New Mexico. If you aren't in this area, contact a rescue in your area.
Q. What if the dog I adopt is not working out?
A. You may return the dog at anytime throughout his/her life. We cannot refund your adoption fee after one week in home.
Q. Where do these dogs come from?
A. They come from shelters or are strays. Occasionally we will accept an owner turn-in when space permits.

A. TCDR dogs are fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested, and treated, if necessary. You will receive the dog's vet records when you sign the adoption contract.
